Volunteer Of the Month - October 2024
Volunteer of the Month for October - Andrea Kwako!
Andrea began volunteering this summer. Despite being with us for only about half a year, she has quickly become a staple at the farm! She regularly steps up to help when others call out and has taken over as barn lead on multiple shifts. Her daughter, Heidi, even joins in when she is able. Andrea is exceptionally friendly and always smiling, even when doing tough jobs! She was my right-hand gal during Party with a Purpose, helping all day (including the morning barn shift) and jumping in wherever there was a need. Below is a picture of Andrea and her daughter after Party with a Purpose with their favorite old man, Truffles!
